Sumeria is an independent sourcing and coordination project. We approach prospective employers, collect preliminary job details and help agencies decide which conversations to continue.
Where our role ends
We are not a designated J-1 sponsor. We do not approve jobs or participants, issue DS-2019 forms or guarantee a visa, placement or hiring outcome. Required program checks and approvals remain with the responsible designated U.S. sponsor.
How we present opportunities
Illustrations on this website explain a process. They do not represent available jobs, existing employer partnerships or sponsor endorsements. We distinguish information supplied by an employer from details that still require confirmation.
